V.S Is The New C.M Of Kerala

V.S Achutanandan, popularly known as V.S was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Kerala on May 18th 2006 in presence of senior party leaders and workers. Lot of speculation prevailed in the selection of the Chief Ministership but in the end, the 83 year old veteran of Kerala politics succeeeded in ascending the thorne removing all the obsctacles.

The surprising thing is that Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the another senior leader of CPI-M has been assigned the portfolio of Home.V.S will also hold the additional portfolio of Public Administration.
